Abstract
Shape memory polyurethan ionomers were synthesized by 2,4-toluene diisocyanate(2,4-TDI), poly(butylene adipate) glycol (PBAG) with different molecu'ar weight, l,4-butanediol(BDO), and dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA), which were neutralizing with triethylamine (TEA). The properties of polyurethane ionomers were studied using DSC,DMA,bending, and water vapor permeability (WVP) test. Comparing to the shape memory polyurethane non-ionomers,ionomers had superior effect on shape memory behavior and water vapor permeability.
