Abstract

To make the best use of Marasmius androsaceus sources. Marasmius androsaceus mycelium and fermented filtrated liquor were acquired by means of deep liquid fermentation. Water-extraction and ethanol-precipitation method was used to extract intracellular polysaccharides in mycelium, and ethanol-precipitation method was used to extract extracellular polysaccharides in fermented filtrated liquor. The in vitro scavenging activities of polysaccharides on hydroxyl radical, superoxide radical, and DPPH, and its inhibitory effects on H2O2-induced hemolysis of rat erythrocytes and lipid peroxidation of liver homogenate in rat were investigated. The results of anti-oxidative experiments showed that the elimination rate of extracellular and intracellular polysaccharides to ·OH were pretty high. Their effects on ·O2-, DPPH and lipid peroxidation of liver homogenate in rat were evident. They had less influence on H2O2-induced hemolysis of rat erythrocytes. With the same concentration, intracellular polysaccharides were more effective than extracellular polysaccharides on anti-oxidation.
