Abstract

Compared with L.Chinense, the chloroplast of L.Chinense var.rubrum leaves is smaller in size and inceases in number. And stroma lamellas become loose. In different leafcolour stages , the chloroplast ultrastructure changes a lot.When leafcolour turns green, the number of chloroplasts decreases and the size increases.The specific lamellae numbers of granum decrease correspondently.
