Abstract
This experiment using different dosage of biogas slurry and fertilizer to study their effects on the growth, yield and quality of watermelon under soilless cultivation were carried out in greenhouse. The results showed that the mixture of biogas slurry and chemical fertilizer reduced bulk density,pH,EC in growing media, and promoted plant growth, and improved yield and quality of watermelon. As compared with the treatment of pure chemical fertilizer, mixture of 70% biogas slurry with 30% chemical fertilizer improved content of yield,Vc,soluble sugar, soluble solids, protein of fruit by 50.8%,9.9%,6.6%,4.4%,12.1% respectively;the nitrate content of fruit decreased by 20%.
