Research Progress on Leaching of Gold Using Thiosulfate

Abstract

Thiosulfate is a promising and nontoxic lixiviant replacing cyanide for leaching gold.The research progress on leaching of gold using thiosulfate,involving the mechanism of leaching gold and effect of copper,ammonia on leaching,and the method how to recovery gold from the solution are introduced.The problem in leaching of gold using thiosulfate are discussed.
