Abstract
This paper discusses a reconstruction program to achieve low constant speed control function on existing DF8B diesel locomotives and how to design and implement the low constant control algorithm using PI regulator. In order to extend the life of traction motor, the current limit curve has been adjusted in special. The paper also outlooks a vast application prospect of the low constant speed control technology in automated loading operating occasions.
