Analysis of High Influence Scientific Paper Published by Three Military Medical Universities in Journals Covered by Science Citation Index(expanded) in 1994-2009

Objective Bibliometric analysis of thesis from three military medical universities in Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE) about 16 years,so as to provide evidence for decision making in science research administration.Methods High influence scientific paper published by three military medical universities in journals covered by science citation index(expanded) in 1994-2009 were multi-angle counted and analyzed,and the standard of the impact factor of 2008 published by institute for scientific information(ISI).Results A total of 38 papers with an IF higher than 20 were retrieved from 7 journals,which were first author are form these three universities.There were 525 papers which had been cited for more than 20 times,there were 11 papers had been cited for more than 100 times.The citation frequency of original articles was more than other types of literature.The research achievements of immunology and neuroscience were prominent.Conclusions This study attempted to show that superior subjects of these three military medical universities and the impact of scientific paper.
