Abstract

It is found that the reflexive pronouns in the first 80 chapters of Dream of Red Mansions are Zi,Zi Ji,Zi Jia and Ge.The four reflexive pronouns have distinct differences in usage and distribution: Zi and Ji are used with high Jia and Ge with relatively low frequency;Zi and Ji are complicated in usage and Jia and Ge are single in usage.
