Clinical observation of treatment through intravenous thrombolysis with low dose urokinase in 36 patients with advanced cerebral infarction

Objective To study the effection and safe of treatment through intravenous thrombolysis with low-dose urokinase(UK) in patients with advanced cerebral infarction.Methods Seventy-two patients with advanced cerebral infarction were divied into treatment group(n=36) and control group(n=36).All of them recpted the general treatment in 2 mon,including free radical scavengers,calcium antagonists and cerebral protection drugs,but the patients in the treatment group also got the treatment of low-dose UK(2～5×10 6U,qd) through intravenous thrombolysis for 5 days.Nerve functions and the living condition in these tow groups were compared in the 5th day and in 90th day.Results The significant effective rate and the remote effective rate in the treatment group were 52.7% and 47.2%,which was significanct higher than 30.55% and 33.33% in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion It is effective and safe for the patients with advanced cerebral infarction to get the treatment through intravenous thrombolysis with low-dose urokinase.
