Abstract
Objective To investigate the free radical scavenging effect of shenghuatang(decoction,SHT).Methods Fenton method was applied to evaluate the hydroxyl radicals scavenging effect of SHT extract via three different ways and by varying effective ingredients content. Results The hydroxyl radical scavenging activity was positively associated with the effective ingredients content(P0.01),which was affected by the extraction process. The content of angelica sinensis had the greatest effect on the hydroxyl radical scavenging activity. Conclusion The SHT extract shows beneficial effects on scavenging hydroxyl radicals.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
