Abstract
Ethanol is widely used in chemical,pharmaceutical and electronics and other fields. As a renewable energy,fuel ethanol has been the focus of new energy research and development in the world.Extractive distillation with salt is developed based on distillation by salt effect and extractive distillation,so far,extractive distillation with salt is an important method for the separation of ethanol water system.Distillation by salt effect,extractive distillation and extractive distillation with salt will be described in this paper. Current research situation and development prospect of ethanol water system are also introduced in the paper.
