Abstract
Objective To investigate expression changes of the synaptophysin and neurofilament protein in frontal cortex of Parkinson disease. Methods Rats were divided into model group(n=10) and control group(n=4). Three to five weeks after lesion, staining of synaptophysin and neurofilament(NF60 and NF200) in frontal cortex of rats were observed by immunohistochemistry method, and contents of SYN and NF were analysed by image analysis system. Results On the lesion side of frontal cortex of PD rats, positive reactions of NF apparently decreased, fibers became shorter and thiner, and staining became lighter. Immunologic reactions of SYN also significantly decreased and maldistributed. In addition, the corrected optical densities of immunologic reactions of NF and SYN were decreased significantly than the other side and control group(P0^01).Conclusion On the lesion side of frontal cortex of PD rats, expression of NF and SYN significantly decreased, which probably was a reason resulting in dysfunction of frontal cortex of PD patients.;
