Abstract
Based on the weather background analysis of lightning parameters and different electric fields, the four selected thunderstorm cases in 2007 can be sorted into 4 kinds:Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ.The duration, lightning number, lightning intensity and instability parameter of typeⅠare larger than those of typeⅢ. While those of typeⅣare the least. The lightning intensity of the 4 kinds of thunderstorms is mainly concentrated on the range from -40 to 40 kA,that for typesⅠandⅢis higher than that for typeⅡ.In initial stages of typeⅠweather, the range of its variation amplitude is larger than others. The change in the different electrical fields of different weather types is different, and that of typeⅠis larger than typeⅡ.The thunderstorms of typesⅠ,ⅡandⅢhave more threats to lightning protection equipments than that of typeⅣ.
