ANALYSIS OF OCCUPATIONAL STRESS OF TEACHERS IN UNIVERSITY

[Objective]To investigate occupational stress of teachers in college and provide new methods to relieve teachers' stress and anxiety.[Methods]Occupational stress inventory revised edition(Mclean's)was used to evaluate teachers' occupational stress according to the scores of 32 questions in 9 aspects.[Results]Teachers from different specialties had a occupational stress,but the extent of stress was different.Male teacher's scores of occupational stress were significantly higher than those of females(P﹤0.05).However,the occupational stress was not relative with age.[Conclusion]Teachers in university have a significant occupational stress.They must pay attention to knowing themselves and respecting others in coping capability especially.
