Abstract
The membrane structure whose refractive index is also distributed periodically can be analyzed as a kind of one-dimensional photonic crystal. In this paper,with the optical principle for membrane,the propagation characteristics of this kind one-dimensional phtonic crystal are studied and the effects on the location and the width of the photonic band-gap caused by the refractive index,optical thickness and the central wavelength of the photonic crystal's component are analyzed. So,one-dimensional photonic crystal can be designed under this guidance.
