Abstract
A new method of developing the embedded gateway based on ARM and CAN bus was introduced, the hardware design scheme and software modules were discussed.The communication between ARM and Ethernet controller by serial peripheral interface, and then connected to the Ethernet.The test result demonstrates that this embedded gateway is more simple and general,more easily to develop and maintain.
