Abstract
By using spatial autocorrelation test,it is revealed that the innovation activities in China are highly regionalized and spatial clustered, which are centralized along the urbanized Bohai Rim and Yangzta Delta region. The paper further constructs a spatial econometric model to measure the spillover effect. The results suggest that: urbanization,RD,and marketization can promote spatial knowledge spillover;the estimation of urbanization by SEM is more significant than that of OLS;perimeter in the model is significantly positive, which means the innovation of neighboring areas can strengthen the local innovation activities and there is spatial knowledge spillover phenomenon.
