Research of internet addiction situation and risk factor on Minzu university students of China

Objective Survey the behavior and psychological characteristics of Internet addicts among minority college students,discuss the Internet addiction status and impact factors.Provide foundations and suggestions for the college students to help them use the Internet rationally and positively,give some methods and suggestions to prevent the Internet addiction of college students.Methods Select 300 people from different professions and different grades in undergraduate school of Central University for Nationalities.According to background information and network usage,conduct psychological investigation and live questionnaire investigation,using SPSS18.0 as a statistical tool.Results We found that freshmen are in higher proportion(50%),and 40.2% of the students are Internet addicts.Questionnaire analysis revealed that the Internet proportion of the minority college students on others were higher than mail(8.2%),information inquiries(5.1%) and online learning(7.1%) of ratio.Conclusion Internet addiction can seriously affect the normal life and study of students,especially in the lower grades.Most of the students surveyed do not treat that as a disease,and less of them understand the impact factors.
