Abstract

Objective To check on two\|dimensional and color Doppler ultrasonography in diagnosing venous valvular insufficiency in lower extremity. Methods 24 patients(36 lower limbs) with venous valvular insufficiency were compared with the health by the two\|dimensional and color Doppler ultrasonography. Results The velocities of blood flow of the diseased veins were lower than the healthy ones(P0 05). The inner diameters of the diseased great saphenous veins were widened than the healthy ones(P0 05). Conclusion Two\|dimensional and color Doppler ultrasonography are helpful for diagnosing venous valvular insufficiency of lower extremity.\;
