STUDY ON THREE-PHASE MICRO-FOAMING DRILLING FLUID SYSTEM AND ITS RIELD APPLICATION

Abstract

Micro-foam drilling fluid system is a kind of circulating low-density drilling fluid.This paper introduced lab.study and field use of three-phase micro-foam drilling fluid system.Optimizing base-fluid,foaming agent and foam stabilizer can ensure that the property of this system is good.Tests of C2854 well in Xinjiang oilfield show that the system is easy to compound,to manage and to transform,and its cost is low.The system can assure safety and rapid drilling.Meanwhile,this system can be used in underbalanced drilling and to solve lost circulation problem.$$$$
