Abstract
A fosmid genomic library was constructed for Litopenaeus vannamei. The library consisted of about 1.1×105 clones,in which average length of inserts was greater than 35 kb.The library was screened by PCR analysis using primers designed according to the EST from L.vannamei homology to calcium-release-channel gene of Drosophila melanogaster.A positive clone was selected, subjected to DNA sequencing, and an existence of the calcium-release-channel gene was revealed. These results will improve the study on gene cloning and molecular breeding for L.vannamei.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
