Abstract

This paper presents the brief process of direct coal liquefaction,several typical direct coal liquefaction technologies,research works done by China Coal Research Institute on process research,coal tests,catalysts development and engineering preparation of direct coal liquefaction and the current status of direct coal liquefaction technology toward commercial application in China.
