Statistical analysis and evaluation of the authors and their quotations from China Library Journal(1989—1999)

Based on some statistical data collected from 56 issues of China Library Journal from 1989 to 1999,this paper mainly analyses and evaluates the authors and quotations to exploit potentialities of the subject,find improvements and regulations,probe into the research and development of library science and give reference sources either to the teaching and research departments,or to the administrative departments for their decision—making,resources allotment,talent selection and project evaluation.
