Abstract
Objective: To investigate the etiologic diagnostic efficacy of atelectasis in lung fiberoptic bronchoscopy. Methods: The results of chest roentgenogram(CR) and computed chest tomograms(CT) were atelectasis ,272 cases with atelectasis in lung were examined by fiberoptic bronchoscopy,in addition to biopsy, brash biopsy, and staining. Results:The final causes of atelectasis were lung cancer in 126 cases(46.3%) ,bronchiectasis in 108 cases(39.7%),pulmonary tuberculosis in 32 cases(11.8%),and foreign bodies in the bronchi in 6 cases(2.2%).Conclusions:It was considered that the bronchofiberscopy was important in the pathological diagnosis for pulmonary atelectasis.
