Abstract
As one of the major projects in Xianju Urban Flood Control Program, dikes are planned to cross the Shiniu village.Land acquisition and resettlement would exert great impact on people's daily life and project implementation. This paper simulates the planned dike layout and revised solution with a 2D numerical model of flows. Through comparing flood level and velocity variation along the way, the paper provides technical basis for optimal layout of flood control dikes.
