Abstract
The map beautification is the main content of the map artification.Beautiful things have certain characteristics,that is consistent with the law of the formal beauty and the expression beauty law.The beautification design of map not only to use the formal beauty law,but also to use the expression beauty law.The map work had both beautiful form and beautiful expression is the most beautiful.The aesthetic law has wide application value in map design.Discussed the application methods of the aesthetic law in design of a single symbol and symbol composition,a font and font composition,single color and color composition.
