Abstract
In this paper, a traffic signal control method of isolated intersection based on the fuzzy logic is put forward. This method can effectively respond to stochastic and uncertain features of traffic flow at intersections, and can realize the changes of circle, phase lengths and phase sequences of traffic signals according to the traffic condition. The simulation results show that the fuzzy control is better than the current fixed-time control and the traffic capacity of the intersections can be improved.
