Abstract
This paper gives the new discussion firstly on the symmetry problem of gear-involute which can be found in the course of constructing involute cylinder-gear by the Pro/E.Then this paper analyses the symmetry problem of gear-involute by using the original diagram-demonstration and mathematics-calculation and draws a new conclusion.The conclusion has an instructional significance for the research on the involute cylinder-gear engineering practical problem.
