Abstract
In this paper,numerical modal analysis and testing modal analysis of SNH4102Z diesel engine block were done to verify the result of each other,and the structure improvement programs were made on the basis of the both.A handling process of modeling in 3D modeling software—Pro/E,dividing finite element mesh in the HyperMesh software,calculating in ANSYS was used in the numerical modal analysis.It proved that the result of numerical modal analysis can anastomose well with the one of testing modal analysis,and which has high credibility.This handling process of numerical modal analysis can be used in a similar case of single part vibration and noise analysis.
