Abstract
EJB, the core of the J2EE system, is heavyweight for the Web applications of many small and medium-sized enterprises. It is urgent to introduce a lightweight Web application framework to reduce the difficulty and the system development cost. Spring is in the core, integrated Hibernate, Acegi and the other open source frameworks to build the J2EE-based Web application framework. For the used the hierarchical thinking, it realizes the rights management, information management and other basic functions and provides a lightweight, reusable, scalable framework for the Web developers. The example of designing and developing the Weihai City Large-scale Scientific Instruments Share Platform based on the framework illustrates the high-performance, flexibility and reusability of it.
