Abstract

We compared the 400MHz electronic sounding data from Urumqi sounding station with the explored data from MP-3000A ground-based microwave radiometer,analyzed the error of temperature,relative humidity at 58 height layer within 0-10000 meters high from the ground,discussed the causes of errors and introduced briefly the actual application status for the vertical profile chart of physical quantities from MP-3000A ground-based microwave radiometer.The vertical profile charts offered by MP-3000A have certain advantages in monitoring and analysis of weather systems.The exploration accuracy of MP-3000A is much lower than that of conventional balloon sounding,and the low accuracy is the main problem for MP-3000A.The ground-based microwave radiometer needs to be improved constantly in practice operation,and meteorological technicians also need to accumulate the experience and technique for the application of ground-based microwave radiometer.MP-3000A ground-based microwave radiometer has a promisingfuture in the field of meteorology.
