Preventing and Controlling Effects of Chinese Herbal Compound against Chicken Coccidiosis

Abstract

Study on preventing and controlling effects of Chinese herbal compound against chicken coccidiosis via clinical artificial infection and contrast tests were carried out.The results showed that ACI(anti-coccidial index) of combined group was 185.1,which indicated the best curative effects on coccidiosis;while ACI of Chinese herbal compound group(161.33) was lower than ACI of orthodox coccidiostat group(170.1),both of which indicated a good curative effect.Chinese herbal compound had significant curative effects on coccidiosis via improving PCV,elevating growth rate and relieving clinical symptoms of coccidiosis in chicken.
