Abstract
Intermediate temperature structere(usually termed as bainite)is a gra-nular one, upperbainite(including granular bainite)or lower bainite and some-times meta-bainite(carbidefree bainite)can be obtained.Composite structureusually appears in steel due to a long time of isothermal soak or because ofcontinuous cooling treatment. The meta-bainite,granularbainite and granularstructure,or their composite structures compared with tempering martensiteoften have the lower yield strength, usual tensile strength, higher tonghness, higher fatigue life and appropriate fatigue strength.
