Abstract
In this article the research on oral sustained and controlled release preparations is surveyed. Oral sustained and controlled release preparations have 3 release types: according to time, speed and position of releasing drug. There are a lot of dosage forms: combined matrix, gastoretentive residential tablets, osmotic pump, floating sustained release preparation, etc. Oral sustained and controlled release preparations developed fast and provided wide foreground for drug develop.
