Abstract
High speed independently rotating wheels bogies,the gauge-changeable bogies with independently rotating wheels and low floor LRV bogies with independently rotating wheels that developed in the past 100 years are described.The structure of powered bogies with independently rotating wheels of 100% low floor LRVs is analyzed according to the arrangement of the traction motor.The development and application prospect of independently rotating wheels in China are described.
