Analysis on detection results of antibody of 53 cases with a new inactivated(Vero cell)rabies vaccine

OBJECTIVE To explore immune effect by post-exposure a new inactivated(Vero cell)rabies vaccine.METHODS 53 healthy volunteers were inoculated with rabies vaccine prepared from Vero cells immunization,which was performed at day 0,3,7,14 and 28.Seroconversion and geometric mean titer(GMT)of antibody to the virus of rabies were determined at day 14 and 45 after first dose of vaccination by ELISA and RTTIT methods.RESULTS Local and systemic serious reaction were not observed in all participates.After the first dose of immunization,the positive rate of IgG,measured by the ELISA method at day-14 and 45 were 52.83% and 94.34% respectively.Using the RFFIT method,the positive rate of antibody at day-14 and 45 was 100% and 100% respectively.The titers of antibody were 17.74IU/ml and 15.50IU/ml.CONCLUSION The home-made inactivated rabies vaccine(Vero cell)is safe and highly immunogenic.
