Abstract
There is only qualitative analysis for manage strategy of pedestrian crossing,and no quantitative analysis in the past. This article puts forwards the unsignalized pedestrian crossing delay model based on the safety of pedestrian.Take the situation when pedestrian delay is less than his extreme endurance time as the criterion,the range of vehicle volume for once cross and twice cross can be got if the width of road and pedestrian volume is definite.Finally,the best management for pedestrian crossing at roads is put forward,combined with the study of signalized sections.
