Abstract

A new method for the determination of Cu(Ⅱ) based on the catalyzed reaction of bromeosin with potassium chlorate is described. The linear range of determination is 0 5~20 μg/L for Cu(Ⅱ),and the detection limit is 0 22 μg/L.The method was applied for the determination of copper in tap water with satisfactory result.
