Abstract
In the traditional teaching process for major of machine design and manufacturing and their automation, there is a great shortcoming that the discipline integrity is over-emphasized while developing competence of application in engineering is under-emphasized.To meet the society demands, successful experience of German FH modular teaching has been introduced in Hefei University. After mastering the true meaning of the method,we proposed the reform and practice for major of machine design manufacturing and their automation in this paper. It includes curriculum optimization and new teaching ways such as project-drive and on-spot demonstration based on competence-orientation the teaching practice have shown the great improvements in students' competence and consciousness of application in engineering.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
