On Mega City Development Target and Industrial Supporting Capacity: Taking Hefei for an Example

Abstract

Urbanization in China has entered a phase when large regional center cities grow rapidly.Based on the developing theory of center city and city circle,it focuses on the accelerating construction of Hefei as a big modern city beside Chaohu so as to build a new center city in Pan Yangtze River Delta region after Shanghai-Nanjing-Hangzhou,and studies new industrial support with the orientation as a regional oversize city.
