Comparative analysis on English version of Tang poetry translation from aesthetic perspective

Abstract

In this paper,a comparative analysis on English version of Tang poetry translation is carried out in order to improve the quality of poetry translation so that more readers could enjoy the charm of Chinese ancient poetry.Taking different English versions of Seeing Meng Haoran Off At Yellow Crane TowerMooring By Maple Bridge At Night and Fishing In Snow as examples,the reproduction of beauty in the original poem is discussed from the aspects of beauty in meaning,sound and form.
