Abstract

The title complex was synthesized in water-ethanol solution.The crystal structure was determined by elemental analysis,IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.The crystals of the title complex belong to monoclinic system with space group C2/c,a=1.3433(3)nm,b=2.2508(5)nm,c=2.3799(5) nm,β=105.48(3)°,V =6.935(2)nm3,Z=4,Dc=1.408g/cm3,μ=1.096mm-1,F(000)=2800. In the complex,each Ni(II)ion is six-coordinated by three 2,2′-bipyridine with distorted octahedron geometry.A three-dimensional network structure is formed by O-H…O hydrogen bonds interaction.
