Abstract
Obective To evaluate the proportion of bacterial vaginosis(BV) among vaginal infection and the treatment of bacterial vaginosis.Methods During the period from September 2004 to February 2005,1 280 gynecological outpatients accepted leukorrhea examination.According to BV diagnostic standard,each of BV patients took oral metronidazolum 0.2g,t.i.d.for 3d and one tablet of mansuling in vagina every night for 4d.Every BV patient accepted leukorrhea reexamination after one week and two weeks respectively.Results The morbidity of BV among gynecological outpatients was 11.02%,28.78% of the vaginitis patients were BV patients.20% of the BV patients had no corresponding symptom and were diagnosed as BV during the routine examination.The recovery rate was 100%.Conclusion The BV patients have a large proportion among gynecological outpatients and BV should be taken as a routine examination.Metronidazolum combined with mansuling is a convenient treatment for BV with high recovery and short course of treatment.
