Abstract

To make the dating method work more efficiently,Fubianhe fault is taken as an example, and the surface textures of quartz grains in the fault gouge is studied by the means of clustering analysis, the dating is made, the result is got that the main activing time of the fault is medi-late Pleistocene Epoch. This is same with the ESR method.
