Abstract
Stearic acid methylene scissoring bond vibration(δCH2) of one-dimensional infrared spectroscopy, second derivative infrared spectroscopy and two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy were measured in the temperature range from 293 K to 393 K.The first key band frequencies and the unreported second key band frequencies were discovered in the band region from 1440 to 1480 cm-1.The temperature effect on band intensity and ordered change were discussed as well. The study demonstrated the key role of two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy in the analysis of material thermal denaturation.
