Abstract
Objective: To investigate the dynamic changes and significance of serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-10(IL-10) in rats with acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP).Methods: 64 SD rats were randomly divided into control(C) group(the ANP models were made)and ANP(P) group.8 rats were sacrificed at 3,6,12 and 24h after the models had been made. The blood samples of the rats were obtained via superior mesenteric vein to measure TNF-α and IL-10.The head of pancreas were collected to observe pathological changes using a validated histology score. Results: The pathological changes were aggravated significantly in P group. The levels of serum TNF-α were significantly higher in P group than in C group(P0.05).Significantly increased the serum concentrations of IL-10 at 12h and 24h(P0.01).The TNF-α/IL-10 were higher significantly in P group than in C group at 3 h,and it reached peak at 6 h and returned to the level of C group at 12 h.Conclusions: The sorum TNF-α and IL-10 were higher in ANP rats, the TNF-α/IL-10 is shown on a trend which is turned from elevation to relative equilibrium and then into declining in ANP.The T helper(Th) cells are clanged from Th1 to Th2.
