Model of Linux virtual server cluster and its task assignment algorithms

Abstract

Having introduced the cluster and Linux virtual server cluster the model of the LVS cluster is abstracted and described.The 8 algorithms already implemented in the LVS cluster are analyzed and their common shortcomings are pointed out.An idea of assigning tasks according to their sizes to relief the effect of the shortcoming is proposed.
