Abstract

The slope stability is affected by a variety of randomness and fuzziness factors. To combine the fuzzy mathematics and probabilistic reliability analysis method, and form the fuzzy state function which evaluates the slope stability, the Monte-Carlo simulation method is used to solve multi-variable joint probability density function. It simulates the fuzzy probability which changes with various conditions of natural slope stability by case studies. The calculation results show that the fuzzy probabilistic method can reasonably reflect the actual stability of the slope.
