Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) value of diffusion weighted imaging in liver cirrhosis. Methods Diffusion weighted imaging was performed in 23 cirrhotic patients and 15 healthy controls(control group) at 3.0 Tesla magnetic resonance when b value was0、500、800、1000s/mm2.The ADC value in each group was measured and analyzed in right anterior segment, right posterior segment and left medial segment. Results The ADC value measured in left segment was larger than that in right segment. And there was significant difference between them Z=-4.621 P=0.0001).The ADC value measured in right posterior segment was lower slightly than that in right anterior segment,However, there was no significant difference between them(Z=-1.552 P=0.06).The ADC value of liver cirrhosis was lower significantly than contractive group when b=500s/mm2,b= 800s /mm2 and b=1000s/mm2,respectively.Conclusion ADC value has an important clinical role on diagnosis of liver diffuse lesions by virtue of cirrhosis at 3.0 Tesla MRI diffusion weighted imaging.
