Abstract

The paper introduces design and implementation of a real-time data acquisition system based on USB 2.0 according to problems that realtime data acquisition systems are facing and excellent advantages of USB.The elaborated frame circuit is given based on the requirement of the designed system.The A/D and USB communicative interface chips based on requirement are selected and the EZUSB FX2 chip is explained summarily.In the design we encircle EZUSB FX2 chip to develop the software system including firmware program,device drive program and application software.The flow chart and main codes are given in the firmware program design.We also give a prospect to the future development of the data acquisition system.
